Serving Pre-K, K-12 schools, districts, and college campuses for more than 140 years, Follett and IBM iX partnered together on an initiative to help elevate the overall design, visual aesthetic, and user experience for their online campus bookstores.
Great emphasis was placed on applying a stronger retail-minded approach to the evolved design as we were able to gain a thorough understanding of student buying habits for things such as educational materials, technology, and college apparel.
Several pilot colleges were focused on including the University of Notre Dame, Stanford University, Boston College, Texas Christian University, Arizona State University, and New York University.
